I am taking part in the ultimate cycling event, the Sea 2 Summit Challenge 2010, to help Redkite support children and young people with cancer and their families. This blog will detail my journey, highlighting the challenges through training and the event itself.  Hopefully it will capture the laughs, the pain, and amuse you a bit too!

Covering 248km and climbing 5500 metres, from sea level at Merimbula’s coastline to the highest point in Australia, Mt Kosciuszko, the Sea 2 Summit challenge on the weekend of 20 March and 21 March, 2010 will be no easy feat. Put into perspective, this cycling event is tougher than many mountain stages of the Tour de France.

Starting in 2006, the event has raised almost $150,000 towards Redkite  so I hope you can show your support by simply reading my blog or donating to Redkite.
